This month, Cornerstone’s own Ken Hart has been honored with the Alumni of the Year Award from Seattle Pacific University’s School of Business, Government, and Economics. Nominations were reviewed by a selection committee and vetted by: excellence in their field of work, Christian faith and mission, service to the school and the world.
He shares this distinction with 2014-2015 recipient Jeffrey Wilcox, the Chief Executive Officer of the Third Sector Company, and 2015-2016 recipient Kathleen Cummins, who is a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley.
Ken graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1993 with a degree in Business Administration. From there, he transitioned into the world of personal finance, starting his career at Cornerstone Advisors. Today, almost twenty-four years later, Cornerstone is still home with Ken having served as CEO for the last 6 years.
In his over two decades of service, Ken has led Cornerstone to become not only one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest independent wealth management companies, but a firm focused on enabling their employees and clients to make the very most of their time and resources.
